Ons verhaal

Wij (Patricia en Stephen) kennen elkaar al sinds de middelbare hotelschool en na een studie aan de hoge Hotelschool hebben wij veel van de (hotel)wereld mogen zien. De ervaring die we hebben opgedaan hebben we ingepakt en meegenomen naar Curacao, want wat is er niet mooier dan ons eigen resort gebouwd op onze eigen ervaringen en visie? Wij geloven in de kracht van persoonlijke aandacht, oprechte interesse in onze gasten en oog voor details.

In onze carrière hebben we te veel gezien dat het gaat om massa en marges waarmee totaal voorbij wordt gegaan aan de essentie van gastvrijheid. Wij vinden dat gastvrijheid altijd de belangrijkste drijfveer moet zijn om een hotel of resort uit te baten of om er te werken. Helaas is de realiteit anders.

Wij willen onze gasten een glimlach bezorgen en met een voldaan gevoel naar huis laten gaan in de hoop ze snel weer te mogen begroeten. Dat maakt ons zo uniek.

De geschiedenis

We’ve been the proud owners of the resort since September 2023. When we took over, the resort had lost its charm, a once-tourist hotspot for many visitors to the island. Time had stood still, and the clock had stopped ticking over 20 years ago. So, work was needed, and a thorough renovation followed.

We achieved the near-impossible in Curaçao by working incredibly hard and having several skilled professionals at our disposal. This allowed us to reopen in our current form after just over a month.

The resort was completely gutted and rebuilt according to our vision, transforming it into a luxury boutique resort with five deluxe rooms. In the months following its opening, we gathered extensive feedback from guests and closed again for two weeks in April 2024 to finalize the finishing touches. We worked tirelessly to offer our guests an even better product, and we believe we’re making good progress.

Wij geloven in Saint Joris en wij geloven in hetgeen wij doen. Daarom hebben wij dromen en onder het motto ‘spread the love’ en zijn we altijd opzoek naar mensen die geloven in ons en ons product. De tijd van massa is wat ons betreft voorbij en wij geloven in een niche waarbij, echt persoonlijke, oprechte en warme service centraal staat.
